Brand Booths

Immersive, visually stimulating spaces that bring you into the world of the brand. 

The Marketplace

Designated area on the show floor featuring mini-collections and/or a selected brand products displayed on single shelves

The Shop

Cash & carry items and individual brand products merchandised in shop-like displays are available for wholesale ordering and/or purchase.

Shop representatives assist buyers and shoppers with their purchases, provide additional info, and process orders through the online marketplace.

The Shop may also be open to the public at certain times.

Event Sponsor Spaces

Event sponsors present their services and featured products, such as sustainable packaging, ethical manufacturing, non-profits, and more.

Artist Collaborations & Artwork

Local artists create on-site art in collaboration with brands, and show their works in designated spaces around the trade show. 

In hybrid and virtual events, artists live-stream studio visits, demonstrate craft techniques, and may create custom pieces that viewers can place orders for.

Brand Activations & Demos

Makers and designers present their product and tell the brand story in person. 

In hybrid & virtual events, designers live-stream from their production studios, offering first-hand looks at how their products are made.

Demos, workshops,  and brand activations are scheduled throughout each day.  Live-streamed demos are viewed online and on live monitors in the lounge  area and in The Shop section.

Workshops

Workshop booths are interspersed throughout the trade show areas.

Artisans and makers share different techniques from hand-dyeing with natural materials, wild honey production and bee domestication, jewelry-making, embroidery, garment up-cycling, and more. 

Vintage Vendors

Vendors offer hand-picked selections of vintage objects and clothing that buyers can purchase for their store.

Vintage items may also be featured in The Store or Marketplace sections.

The O2 Show launch event in March 2020 offered buyer and VIP gift bags.

Attendees sample vegan bakery goods, and healthy drinks offered by our event sponsors.

Hybrid & virtual events: tasting kits can be pre-shipped to show attendees.

Brand activations & demos also offer samples and tastings, and allow attendees to learn & try out various production techniques.

Trade show’s initial role as facilitator of brand-retailer connections and wholesale business location has to evolve along with the industry.   

We leverage our existing relationships with brands, retailers, influencers, and media to build an eco-conscious community. 

By including consumers and retail events, we can engage with a wider audience and promote more connections across the board.

people and brands can connect from wherever the are around the globe, brands present a more authentic image of the people behind the product by live-streaming directly from production facility to trade show.

For in-person and hybrid events, buyers can set up in-person or virtual appointments.

Post-show connections & brand experience are maintained through the online platform

Brand stories and maker interviews, event replays, sustainability news, year-round networking events, online and local boutique retail collaborations, online wholesale marketplace, and other collaborations.

Access & Convenience

Trade show launched during LA Market, steps away from the other trade shows in the Fashion District: allowed easy walking access for buyers between shows, and 5 min. walk to The Hoxton hotel, our event partner. 

The virtual and hybrid event space on Hopin.com offers  easy, seamless registration and event navigation, one-on-one networking, live-access virtual booths, and direct links to the online marketplace and websites.

We plan to expand future in-person trade shows and pop-up events to other cities around the U.S.  All future in-person events will have a hybrid component that can be accessed in our virtual event space.

Careful Selection of Purpose-Driven Brands

We celebrate brands whose appreciation for beauty, quality, and design is matched by their commitment to ethical and  sustainable production practices honoring the people making the products and preserving natural resources.

We promote sustainable brands who actively try to follow the UN mandates and who practice the values they espouse in their daily operations and business.

We encourage transparency and share information and other useful resources to cut back  greenwashing and help create more sustainable businesses and eco-conscious lifestyles.

All brands participating in the trade show go through a vetting process to ensure they’re ethically made and/or sustainable.

All participating brands are required to complete an interview and a detailed brand declaration that addresses their sustainability and  production practices.

We know full sustainability is a process– and it may take a series of steps to achieve.  We support brands’ continued efforts to make progress in this area.

We encourage transparency and share information and other useful resources to cut back  greenwashing and help create more sustainable businesses and eco-conscious lifestyles.

Digital technologies allow us to innovate and find solutions that can help brands & retailers grow. 

Our virtual event platforms allows us to go ‘beyond the booth’ in connecting brands and retailers. 

The online wholesale marketplace offers year-round connections between brands & retailers, outside trade show events.

Online Marketplace

As we watched retailers shift their buying over the last decade, from pre-season orders to year-round in-stock-goods (especially in fashion), we recognized the importance of having an online marketplace integrated into the trade show platform to allow retailers to order as needed. 

We launched in March 2020 with an online marketplace available to all exhibitors.

Virtual Trade Show

Covid pushed us to go virtual…and also opened a world of new possibilities: expanding  brands’ presence beyond the four booth walls, and allowing more connections from all over the world. 

Brands choosing to exhibit virtually are incorporated into in-person events through live-streamed video feeds and virtual booths. They can also have a selection of their samples range presenting The Shop section of the trade show for closer examination by buyers.

We’re constantly looking for new ways to seamlessly incorporate technology into future in-person events to allow greater participation and connectivity.

Retailer Outreach

As former showroom owners and retail buyers for more than a decade, we know that just having a large number of registered retail buyers on a platform doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll look around, so we try to match retailers with brands that would fit their store.

Our regular market updates feature brand highlights, designer profiles, brand stories, and other timely lifestyle content highlighting relevant brands to create and maintain retailer and public awareness, and encourage discovery.

We interview brands to learn their stories and work closely with them to communicate their unique vision across social media channels, and incorporate them into the whole eco-conscious community.

We help brands optimize their existing content, provide them with additional content creation resources if needed,  to strengthen their message and creating compelling presentations.
